Absolutely true. Many companies and specially startups these days just hire on the basis of a popular university tag or prior experience label attached to the candidate, whereas they should actually gauge if the candidate is the right culture fit or not, whether he can learn and deliver what we want him/her too. If you hire the the right culture fit, trust me, the candidate will stick around in highs and lows and will always work hard for you.
